- Why I specialize in trauma
- After working in this field for over 10 years, I kept seeing the same pattern: people were getting bandage treatment. There were enough tools to help you cope, but never really finding healing. That's what pushed me toward specializing in trauma. My goal is for you to come in, do the work, and go back into the world living your life the way you're meant to, free from trauma taking over. You deserve more than managing. You deserve to heal.
- How I create a safe, supportive environment
- We'll begin with an introductory session where you'll have the opportunity to share your story and your reason for seeking treatment. I strive to create a safe place where you can be vulnerable and share who you are without reservation, and together we'll work toward establishing your goals. I'll never push you beyond your limits, but I will provide the encouragement you need to reach them. Please feel free to let me know what is or isn't working for you along the way. Honest feedback is essential to me being the best support I can be.
- What I want to help members see in themselves
- I will always respect your role as the expert in your own life. My purpose is to guide, empower, and listen as we work together in this process. Everyone experiences trauma differently, and there are various types of trauma individuals may face. We'll work collaboratively to identify what works best for you. I also incorporate humor into my sessions, because I believe laughter is a vital and evidence-based part of the healing process.
- My message to you if you are struggling right now
- You don't have to carry this alone. Healing is possible, and you deserve to get there. I'm genuinely looking forward to meeting you and working alongside you in this journey.
